Everyone, this is really going to be a great concert! It's a BEAUTIFUL venue (it's the Masonic Temple auditorium), and it will be a really classy event. I'll be playing a GREAT variety of music, and introducing a few new songs/show elements as well.

Jason Lyle Black Music Update

Hi friends!

I've been super busy lately with school and a whirlwind of music things happening. But here's the scoop:

ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW
As many of you know, I performed on the Ellen Degeneres Show recently! The episode aired on January 25, and you can see the clip of my performance on my website and Youtube channel. It was a wonderful opportunity, and has opened a lot of doors for me with my entertainment career!

CORPORATE ENTERTAINMENT
After my Ellen performance, I had the opportunity to provide entertainment for an awards banquet at O.C. Tanner company (an international HR consulting firm), in which I presented musical tribute parodies to their award recipients from various countries. The evening was a great success and a lot of fun, and I look forward to other corporate opportunities!

THIS SUMMER
Once I get past my accounting finals in a few weeks, I'll be back on track with scheduling upcoming shows. In the meantime, if you haven't gotten a copy of my sheet music yet, be sure to check it out on my website! You can also order an autographed CD if you don't have one already!

Jason's on TV!

BEETHOVEN'S FIFTH SHEET MUSIC
So I am happy to have finally finished the sheet music for my remix of "Beethoven's Fifth"! It's available as a PDF download on my website for $0.99. Also, I'd like your feedback on the following questions:

-Would you be interested in simplified versions of my more difficult pieces (like "Beethoven's Fifth")?
-Are you interested in getting all of the sheet music from "Another Point of View"?
-Would you be interested in a Christmas sheet music book next year?

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA
This weekend is a private gig for which I'm playing the full score of the Phantom of the Opera, dressed in costume as the phantom! This has been in the works for a few months (I've arranged all of the music myself), and I am really excited about it! Unfortunately, I can't post any videos of this in the near future (copyright issues), but if you'd like to see it in person, contact me about setting up a show in your home!

"RADIO SHOW"
Awhile back, I received some comments from people who said they wished they "could listen to me play the piano all day." As a result, I'm test-driving a new idea: a "piano radio show." I've recorded 30-minute sets of music that I'll be making available on Sundays to help you have a relaxing weekend. You can listen by visiting my blog at this link:

You should be able to play a "Radio Show Preview" clip (about 30 seconds long). If you come back anytime on Sunday you can hear the full show. I'll do this for at least a few Sundays, and then continue it depending on feedback. Enjoy!
